I am a Wellington-based filmmaker with a strong focus on cinematography. Over the past several years, I have gained hands-on experience behind the camera, shooting three short films and an episode of a web series. I have also worked within the camera department as an assistant on multiple short film productions and as a camera trainee on a feature film, developing a solid understanding of both the technical and collaborative demands of set work.

Alongside my camera department experience, I have spent time working in the lighting department, which has given me a broader understanding of visual storytelling and on-set workflows.

I studied filmmaking at Yoobee College of Creative Innovation, completing a Diploma of Film and Content Creation (Level 5) and a Diploma in Film and TV Production (Level 6). My time at Yoobee was formative, strengthening my technical skills while also building creative confidence, professional collaboration, and trust in my creative instincts.

I am drawn to projects that challenge me to think differently and expand my creative problem-solving. Filmmaking’s constant demand for adaptability and innovation continues to shape my approach and growth as a cinematographer.

Prior to my film studies I have worked in various labouring, retail and inward goods/stock distribution roles.
